Dear Dads,
I'm a former shopaholic. I spent money on everything. I loved to shop, and I had a "legitimate" reason for everything I bought. I justified my purchases by genuinely believing they were "enhancing the quality of my life," in my own, old words. I had no savings. I was not on a good path.
That was 10+ years ago. Today? I don't spend like that anymore. I have a family, with four kids, as you can see from the below magazine cover and photos (When the photo was taken we had 3). I have more important things to do with my money than waste it or not understand it, and the most important component of life to me is spending time with my wife and kids. So, I made a shift and taught myself how to use my money wisely - but not be cheap - so that I can maximize my life with minimal effort.

Over the past decade years, I've curated, developed, and integrated the best philosophies, automation hacks, stacked hacks, and tons of other lifechanging personal finance tips to stretch my family's income. How successful was I? 34%.
Yes, 34%. I went through all my finances and tallied everything. That means my methods and philosophies effectively gave me and wife each permanent 34% raises at work. I turn every dollar we make into one dollar and 34 cents.
Every $1 in income = $1.34 in my bank account. It's truly lifechanging.
This increases our spending power tremendously. We get to live a quality of life - and give our kids a quality of life - that is 34% more expensive than we should able to afford.
What's more important? This enables us to spend more time with our kids and together. We aren't forced to take jobs that require super long work hours because they pay more and we don't have to pick up second jobs.
I want all dads to learn to do this. I want to take the pressure off dads so they better provide for their families, without sacrificing time with your children, working extra jobs, picking up shifts, or stressing about money. Anyone can learn to stretch their income to improve their lives.
Sincerely,
Adam
